Stress can be reduced by trying to avoid extreme joint positions at the elbow, wrist and hand joints. Avoid working for long periods of time with these joints bent at extreme positions. Try to find the middle of the range by bending and straightening the fingers, wrist and elbows and stay in the middle position of the extremities.
Also understand that if you are sitting slumped in chair that is too low, this will greatly affect the position of the arm and put the elbows wrists and fingers at increased risk.
So, sit tall and find the mid range for your joints to function. This will increase your efficiency and will assure your ability to continue performing with less pain. If extreme ranges are unavoidable, be sure to move the joints by bending and straightening through the full range 20 times at each break to restore full circulation and maintain tissue flexibility. |

For the prevention of skin cancer and wrinkles, be sure to wear protective clothing including hats and sunglasses especially when performing at outdoor events.
Take precautions especially when playing in the areas of the north United States. However cool the climate, dangerous UV rays have dangerous effects your skin. Stage coverings are often inadequate and can allow the sun's UV rays to get through.
Use a good sunscreen with a SPF of at least 15 and refrain from intentionally lying in the sun or using tanning salons.
Avoid sun exposure especially from June-October and particularly between 10 am and 2 pm. |

The basis of depression is a depletion of certain brain chemicals which are part of the complex composition of thought feeling and behavior. Depression makes one feel a sense of sadness, tearful hopelessness, loss of energy, loss of interest in your usual activities, and sometime complex withdrawal and suicidal despair.
Regardless of its causes, most depressions will resolve over time and most can be effectively treated with medication, psychotherapy or other typed of treatment.
Making music, like medicine, is a calling and a gift. Find righteousness in your talent. Walk in the light. No choice for the soul of the artist. Live Well.
If help is needed the sooner treatment is started, the more quickly the depression will resolve. Call H4M for help @337-988-1583. |

In cars and airplanes, the seats are often not in good alignment with respect to your body. Always bring a small pillow to either use as support for the lower back or to take up space behind the neck if the head rest is positioned too far forward.
Whenever possible, get out of the car/bus and take a few minutes to straighten up and walk before retuning to traveling. |
